Spray and Stretch Technique
The spray and stretch technique may be utilised to quickly alleviate acute pain and restricted ROM, due to muscle trigger points. Once a person is assessed and TrPs are identified, the body is placed in a position where the targeted muscle undergoes slow, parallel sweeps of vapocoolant spray along the length of the muscle, through its trigger points and into the pain reference zone. While the muscle is being sprayed, and nervous system distracted, the practitioner/operator steadily takes up new found muscular slack. Once full ROM is restored, a moist heating pack is applied to re-warm tissues. |

Do not spray in eyes. Over spraying may cause frostbite. Freezing may alter skin pigmentation. Do not use this product on persons with poor circulation or insensitive skin. Do not use on open wounds or abraded skin. If skin irritation develops, discontinue use. Rx Only.
